Talisker 57' North 57%

Tonight we visit the beautiful Isle of Skye and stay on the trail of the Talisker, the perfect dram, and this expression is named after the location of the distillery which sits on 57 Degrees North, and just happens to be 57% proof! I thought it only fitting to frequent their award winning dram and share my experience with you. To the nose this wee dram oozes citrus and sea water which feels quite refreshing. To the palate it is very peppery ( chilli pepper ), again a refreshing change that leaves a tingling glow in your mouth. To the eye it looks like oil, a wonderful golden colour. This wee dram leaves you wanting more, and that is no bad thing!
