I sit here chewing on a Quality Street toffee and familiarizing myself with the Highland Glen Garioch Founders Reserve whisky. For me the two go well together - with the caramel and butterscotch taste of the dram. It has a wee bit of fire with a kick, but a pleasant whisky nonetheless. I certainly would not put water into this dram, as it would lose its character which is its main appeal. Not bad in price either, this bottling is presented well and would look good in any cabinet. Its colour is warming and rich.
I like this dram as it's all down to price and packaging, this one ticks all the boxes.
